My daughter Lauren started Flight Deck back in 2019. She competed in gymnastics up through level 8. I have 3 children, a bachelor's degree in elementary education & pharmacy. I too competed in level 8 gymnastics as a child & I love being able to offer the opportunity to kids in the area some place to go and learn new skills.
Fun Fact: I love animals and own 3 horses/ 2 dogs

​My goal for Flight Deck is to offer a place for families to feel comfortable and at home, while giving children the opportunity to learn & grow.. I owned two businesses in the past 25 years and coached High School Cheer for 15. I love seeing all the kiddos walk in with excitement to learn and have fun. I am blessed with 3 daughters and a grandma of two, soon to be three.
Fun Fact: I own 4 dogs- 2 small & 2 large

Working at Flight Deck is enjoyable & fulfilling. I love working with kids and plan to attend Rhodes State College with the goal of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. I am passionate about my work and helping the gym continue to grow. I enjoy baking, cooking, and spending time with friends. The thing I love the most about working customer service and getting to know all of the parents and students.

Cheer, Preschool, & School Age Instructor​
I have been at Flight Deck since 2024 & live in Celina. I cheered at Coldwater for 6 years and now continue my love of coaching through cheer, gymnastics, & tumbling. My favorite part of my job is walking in to see all of the kids with a big smile and the excitement on their face. I get the opportunity everyday to help others grow & have fun doing it. I am also pursuing a career in Cosmetology. ​

I have been working at Flight Deck since 2024. I coach recreational school age gymnastics, ninja, tumbling and I am also manager of the cheer department. I have danced since the age of 3 with 12 years in competitive dance. After graduating high school and dancing for Kings Island, I became a dance teacher/tumbling coach for 18 years. I have 4 daughters and absolutely love being a girl mom! My favorite aspect of coaching is building confidence and seeing the students shine with their skills. I am so thankful to work at Flight Deck with all the amazing students and staff

School Age Instructor
I've been doing gymnastics and cheerleading since I was 3 years old and have over 15 years of experience, 5+ years of coaching, and I won the D2 Cheerleading Summit in 2018. I enjoy coaching school aged gymnastics and tumbling. I am able to spot skills up to a full. I love working with students on higher-level tumbling, perfecting technique, or working through mental blocks.
Fun Fact: I'm also a U.S. Army veteran!

I have been a part of the FDG staff since August of 2025. I am a preschool instructor & manager's assistant. I was a cheerleader in high school and am currently studying Elementary Education. Working with preschoolers allows me to combine my love for teaching, creativity, and high energy fun every day! My favorite thing to do is listen to music, dance, and sing. The best part of coaching is seeing their excitement as they learn new skills, have fun, and grow in confidence, strength, & independence.

Assistant Team Coach​
I’ve been a part of Flight Deck for a huge part of my life starting as a competitive gymnast and now as a coach. I have over 10 years of experience in gymnastics, but after tearing my ACL, I had to step away from competing. Coaching has become my absolute favorite! I love watching the girls grow not only as gymnasts, but also as confident individuals. I’m so thankful to be part of the Flight Deck family and to work with such an amazing group of athletes and staff.

Friend of Lauren McDonough who started and founded Flight Deck Gymnastics. I have been married 40+ years to my wife Carrie and we have 3 children/ 4 grandchildren. For 30 + years I was a High School Special Needs Instructor. Gymnastics has always been a part of my life.
